Happy to see you get finally get to take a bath after your injury. What a luxury.
Your post made me remember something from the Seth Books. It was a visual of a person painting a picture of themselves standing at an easel. If you look closely you can see the picture on the easel has a picture of them on that easel too and in that picture they are also painting into infinity the pictures go. If the artist wants to change something in their painting it miraculously changes in the painting in front of them and all future renditions. If the artists were to turn around they would see that they are being painted and the change they just made is affecting their past as well as their present and their future.
Im sure it was much more succinctly written in the Seth Book.
It affected me then in a profound way and made me get a sense of Einstein saying that time isn’t just linear.
When bad things have happened or dark thoughts surround me I remember that visual and the ease at which a change can be made and how it can affect my past, present and future.
It adds sense if you put reincarnation into the equation. The idea of evolution of the “soul” through what can be considered as infinite time adds meaning to life. In eons possibly achieving things we can only imagine. Things that would be seen on earth as super powers. That can be appealing and meaningful. There’s also the shared experience which helps others to evolve through what you represent to the community. Helping others is very noble and fulfilling to many people. But allot of what’s out there is harder to adhere to if it’s only suppositions of what could be true. So many things can be true and I think that is what makes finding meaning difficult; not knowing what “true” is.
It’s easier if you adopt a religion as absolute truth and live your life through the parameters of what it means to be christian or muslim or whatever else. The smaller the world, the more sense of controle we have. I don’t fit in a box. I don’t want to live in an aquarium having an entire sea to swim in. But the sea has it’s dangers. So I guess that is the price to pay for being an explorer of truth and meaning without adopting a preconceived existencial truth and instead, trying to figure out for yourself what real is in order to find meaning. Just be proud to be a daring explorer! There aren’t many brave enough to do it. :)
What is the soul evolving from? If it started out as pure consciousness... I’d it evolving? I’m actually recording my next bathtub podcast about this... what exactly is it I need to learn that I didn’t already know?
Haha… great question!!! My answer will be limited due to the construction of concept in progress. lol
Consciousness is multi layered. Existing in material form is different from being “disincarnated” (unincarnated? not in this realm of existence). Even here in life we vary our level of consciousness. Some days our thoughts are clear, we see answers where before we saw problems. It’s easier to make choices we were struggling to make, and all because something changed our mood, our perspective. Those are alterations in our consciousness levels. A few days later we might find ourselves having issues again. Back to a state of more mental confusion, lessened awareness. So I understand that somewhere outside of this state of consciousness, of this material existence, there is an extension of us that is sublime. A level of consciousness we briefly experience from time to time. A feeling of bliss where somehow everything that exists makes sense. But we are not that level of consciousness while we are here. Probably we never fully are that level of consciousness until we are able to be that sublime all powerful versions of ourselves while in the physical state. Until the day we can unify all our consciousness states into one. That is the quest to evolve. Only then we will be one. The one that resonates in harmony with the universe. That is why it’s “the one”. Why we have all these Messiah stories of humans achieving nirvana and their struggles to get there. Jesus, Neo and all these other Messiah characters we have elaborated tell the same story. The story of us becoming one with our selves. Right now we are many. Many levels of consciousness in different states of existence, simultaneously. The levels of consciousness that we can’t grasp have to inhabit somewhere. A quantum realm? Another dimension? I am certain we existe simultaneously beyond this existence. Beyond our consciousness. So basically that's it. That’s my theory of what possibly goes on if reincarnation is a thing. The idea is that the level of consciousness we have while in material form, only exists while in material form. Through each life we evolve that consciousness until it can grasp, understand and become our higher selves.
Because we've never been “it” in the material form! Only in the metaphysical. Our knowledge, understanding and powers are limited in the material realm of existence. We are trying to evolve that. To be able to be our higher selves while in physical form. Did you read the entire previous comment? I so was sure I explained that concept well. I failed if you didn’t get that from what I wrote.
Sylvia Brown wrote that our souls determine the script of the life we chose to live here on our earthbound journey. The script is to teach us lessons. We choose our “traveling partners” from our circle of souls on the other side. When 911 happened and I felt gutted I remembered this chapter in her book. What if we all agreed to this script before arriving? What if these horrendous happenings were in some way a plan to teach and change the world in some mystical way?
I don’t know…but the thought of that eased my mind.
Maybe that is where the meaning comes from? It calmed me to think that maybe I had some control in this script.
I don’t know… sometimes I feel like this could be true and other times, I think… there is no script. It’s a choose your own adventure the minute you open the book. Free will always throws a wrench I this notion that this is all pre-determined in the void for me…. And If I did agree to this…then I’m gonna have a chat with myself when I get back.
I just noticed there’s some moments where I drop out because my phone rang. Sorry I’m learning how to do this.

That’s a powerful image. Thank you.. and oh so true….
That truly is the question isn’t it? Finding meaning!? I haven’t quite found that answer either. In the grand scheme of things…❤️
Lately I’ve been struggling with the meaning part...
