“You’re only voting for her because she’s a woman” is the new “insult” thrown out by MAGA to insinuate that anyone who isn’t voting for Trump is only capable of considering biology or body parts because we couldn’t possibly have the brain power to do it for any other reason.
Let’s pretend for a moment that that is the only reason women are voting for Kamala – how is that an insult- Women inherently make better leaders- and I’m not just saying that because I have a vagina – Data and statistics (you know scientific and math stuff) show it to be an accurate statement.
Countries around the world are electing women and seeing tangible benefits. You know, actual evidence that when women lead, societies do better.
Here are some examples:
Rwanda: This country leads the world with over 60% of its parliamentary seats occupied by women. Since increasing female representation, Rwanda has seen massive improvements in health, education, and community stability. It’s almost as if including women creates a more balanced society—who would have guessed?
Ethiopia: Appointing Sahle-Work Zewde as the first female president marked a turning point. Gender-inclusive policies have led to tangible gains in food security, healthcare, and educational access. Not only are they making progress, they’re actually showing what competent leadership looks like.
The Nordic Countries (Norway, Sweden, Finland, Denmark): These nations consistently rank among the best in gender equality and enjoy the benefits: lower domestic violence rates, stronger social safety nets, and healthier economies. It’s almost as if treating women as equals pays off. Shocking, I know.
New Zealand: Under Jacinda Ardern’s leadership, the focus was on tackling issues like child poverty and mental health. She emphasized compassion and long-term stability over soundbites and slogans. Her efforts addressed root causes of hunger and domestic instability in ways that made other world leaders look like, well, amateurs.
Mexico just elected its first female president!
Countries that empower women in agriculture have also shown significant reductions in hunger. If women farmers had the same access to resources as men, global hunger would decrease by 12-17%, impacting up to 100 million people. This highlights the role of women in driving agricultural productivity and food security.
Overall, countries that emphasize gender equality in leadership and decision-making tend to have better social outcomes, demonstrating the profound impact that women can have on reducing violence, hunger, and other critical issues.
So, yeah… I’m voting for Kamala because she’s a woman. I realize that the primarily male MAGA contingent can’t stomach the idea of a woman leading them, which is why they so desperately want to control every aspect of our lives, from our bodies to our ability to generate income, education, and work. It scares them that women are obtaining college degrees more frequently than men. As of 2022, 39.0% of women aged 25 and older have completed a bachelor's degree or higher, compared to 36.2% of men in the same age group. Women also now make up the majority of the college-educated labor force, comprising 50.7% of this demographic (Pew Research Center)(Census.gov).
It really scares them that in the next few years, women will control the majority of the world's wealth. Women currently control about $10 trillion in household financial assets, and this figure is projected to rise dramatically. By 2030, it is estimated that women will control as much as $30 trillion in financial assets, largely due to the "Great Wealth Transfer" from baby boomers as well as increased earnings and entrepreneurship among women.
Globally, the trend is similar. Women's wealth is expected to reach $93 trillion by 2023, driven by increased financial independence, rising educational attainment, and shifting cultural attitudes towards women in financial roles. This shift in wealth control is expected to have a profound impact on the financial landscape, influencing investment strategies, spending patterns, and even corporate governance, as more women take on roles in wealth management and financial decision-making. The Horror!
Yep- I’m voting for her because she’s a woman.
Trump and his version of Robin are out there spouting that they alone will be the savior of women, and little Miss Arkansas thinks women need to be humbled…
Scary when you realize what their version of “protection” really means. Stronger windows and doors in our schools, not common-sense gun laws. Older women caring for children, not reasonable family leave, old school health insurance that punishes those who have a pre-existing condition instead of universal health care and affordable medication. And let’s just de-regulate everything and drill baby drill.
Yes. I am voting for her because she’s a woman, and I’m damn proud of that.
