The part about the dolphins is utter magic. The world is filled with beauty. Many humans are the farthest thing from beauty and magic. A few still are, but I'm not sure there's enough left.

Also wanted to let you know Venmo doesn't work in Canada or anywhere outside the USA. I am a paid subscriber, but there are posts I'd have tipped, too, but I can't use Venmo. I'm not sure what percent of your subscribers are outside the USA, but might be worth looking.

Good to know. Sometimes I post Zelle, but it doesn’t work either. I mean my paid subscriptions five bucks a month and people can subscribe for one month and then cancel.

You may have lost the physical film footage when on that boat… but you expertly gave the visual footage to all of us. Brilliant essay. Thank you!

LOVE LOVE LOVE this!!

the dolphin part is what I want to continue to focus on...the miracles of life in action.

And yet these are some of the key points that also stood out to me:

"I’m also a little sad that so very little has changed."

"...the truth is, some of the most meaningful moments in our lives happen because we leave the house"

"I worry that as more of our world becomes generated instead of experienced, we’ll slowly lose those accidental miracles."

It was one of the coolest experiences of my life

"I worry that as more of our world becomes generated instead of experienced, we’ll slowly lose those accidental miracles." I agree. In the meantime, Betsy: incredible essay, as always.
