They won’t care if you die
If you aren’t “one of them”

Here we are again, another young light extinguished because they were “different.”
And by “different,” let me be clear – they were not White, hopefully, Anglo-Saxon or Aryan, Christian, and Heterosexual, He/Him, She/Her.
If you aren’t that, then your life is worthless to them. Of course, it is. They have spent their entire lives being programmed to believe that. They would never say it out loud (or maybe these days they would), but they don’t care if you die because of your differences.
For centuries, these groups have been told they are superior to all other races and ethnicities, and even within that, Men rule, and if you’re a woman that fits their mold, good, you can make more babies.
This ideology is so pervasive in their DNA, to shift that belief takes years of unlearning, which is why they don’t want their people actually learning anything outside of the HIStory they want propagated.
It’s why they ban books and cry “WOKE” at any University or school that attempts to teach our history from any perspective other than their own. It has been shown that people who are educated, as in actually taught history and not HIStory, usually move away from their right-wing ideological upbringing. They become more compassionate and empathetic and care more about others and the planet. All the things anyone who is superior doesn’t care about because they are the “chosen” and will ascend into the pearly gates while the rest of the heathens writhe in the suffering pits of volcanic hell.
Fear rules the ruling class. It always has. They must keep their minions afraid of anything that might impede their superiority, and the best way to do that is to dehumanize anyone or anything different from them.
This is why books and media featuring characters that identify as LGBTQIA+, Neuro Divergent, or any other ethnicity must be banned. FEAR always keeps people in line. The oldest war tactic in the book- keep them battling each other, and they won’t rise up against “you.”
Once we humanize a “difference,” empathy and compassion usually follow; that is typically how the brain works.
When people say, “How can anyone be so callous?” the reality is that they don’t have the neurons to understand anything different from what they have been programmed to believe.
Humans are basically fancy-ass computers. Starting from day 1, information feeds into our brain, and we accept it as truth. Tell a child repeatedly, “That person is bad and will take away the things you love.” Enough times, and eventually, they will beat up an innocent girl in a bathroom and expect to be praised for it.
Humans really are that basic.
What is the solution? This year is a voting year, so vote! If you’re saddened by the gun violence and the brutality humans are wreaking upon each other and the planet, then you must make a choice to vote for people who actually want to do something about it.
If you don’t want your child reading “that” book, maybe ask yourself, what are you so afraid of? How fragile is your belief that exposure to anything that opposes it might cause you or your child to change their perspective? And is your belief so superior that it doesn’t allow for others to believe something else? I mean, I like peanut butter and chocolate and you might not? Should I be allowed to murder you over that?
We will never all agree on who’s God is the “right” God, but all of our blood runs red. We may never agree on who should marry whom, but last I checked, Bob marrying Steve has never impacted my life in any meaningful way.
If we are going to create a world we want our children to thrive in; then we have to rise above the fear we’ve been programmed to believe.
That takes courage. That takes critical thinking. That takes a willingness to say loud and proud that no one should be harmed for my beliefs.
I’m gonna go out on a limb and state that I bet Jesus, you know that brown anarchist guy the White, hopefully, Anglo-Saxon or Aryan, Christian, and Heterosexual, He/Him, She/Her, folks like to quote would crawl back to the cave if he knew what his name was being used for.
