Over the past few months, I’ve been having some fun making short videos about incredible women.
You see, the patriarchy loves a good fairytale—the one where women’s only contribution to history is, well, making more people. Convenient, right? But here’s the thing: women have been shaping the world in ways far beyond childbirth, and men have spent centuries either erasing their achievements or slapping their own names on them.
From groundbreaking medical discoveries to revolutionizing nuclear physics (yes, really), women have been behind some of the most important advancements in history. So today, on International Women’s Day, let’s take a moment to celebrate a few of the brilliant, badass women who helped build the world as we know it.
Learn about Celia Payne- who discovered helium and hydrogen!
And Lise Meitner, who discoverednuclear fusion!
And my personal favorite-Lizzie Maggie- the true inventor of the gamemonopoly

These are just a few of the incredible women who helped shape our world—only to be written out of history. And now, our current government seems determined to erase even more women every single day. I refuse to let that happen.
